This Privacy Policy explains how HostBooked ("we", "us"), operated by Eniji LLC, collects and uses your information when you visit hostbooked.com or use our services.

Information we collect

Information you give us — when you submit the audit form, onboarding form, or contact us: your name, email, phone, listing links, property details and any message content.
Usage data — via Google Analytics 4 (cookies/identifiers, pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser), collected only after you accept cookies.
Payment data — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details; Stripe shares limited transaction information (e.g. amount, plan, email) with us.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics cookies load only if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner; choosing "Decline" keeps analytics storage disabled (Google Consent Mode). You can change your choice anytime by clearing the site's storage in your browser.

How we use your information

To respond to enquiries and deliver the services you request.
To prepare your listing audit and onboarding.
To process payments and provide receipts (via Stripe).
To improve our website and measure marketing performance.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us operate: Google (Analytics), Stripe (payments), and our email provider. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep enquiry and client information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the South African POPIA, the EU/UK GDPR, or similar laws — including the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise any right, email hello@hostbooked.com.

International transfers

We operate internationally (South Africa, Nigeria and the United States). Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, with appropriate safeguards.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Children

Our services are for adults managing rental properties and are not directed at children under 18.
